'Works of Nathaniel Hawthorne'

Hester believes everyone has a unspoiled to their privacy, everyone does not affect to know everything about someone. For example when Hester is rest on the scaffold with her child and is asked to let out the father of her child, she refuses. Hester believes it is not her right to give way who the father is, it is the obligation of the father to measure forward. Another ruler she lives by is arrogance, gener ally confidence in herself.
